Chris Hughes MARLA – The department is headed up and lead by newly appointed Lettings Director, Chris. Although Chris originally hails from Driffield, after his professional rugby career came to an end in 2009, he started his property journey in the West Riding. Working alongside a former teammate Chris became passionate about the rental sector and so focused his energy on developing his lettings specific knowledge. After 2 years Chris made to decision to move back to his hometown where he was offered a position with traditional local Letting Agency. Growing from strength-to-strength Chris obtained his Level 3 ARLA Qualifications in 2014 and his continued to develop his professional skills and legal knowledge. Chris now has over a decade of industry specific and managerial experience and is able to offer advice on all aspects of lettings, from advising what improvements can be made to a property to increase yields, valuation, dispute resolution and to answer those nitty gritty legal queries. Chris is an advocate for good lettings practice and understands the importance of creating meaningful lifelong relations with clients and tenants alike.
