When Lizzie Jackson, Woolley & Parks’ Associate Director of Land & New homes saw the plans for the Allon Homes site in Nafferton, she just fell in love. “Myself and my partner were thinking about moving from our current property for a little while, but we hadn’t really put a great deal of serious thought in until I saw the plans at Nafferton” Lizzie told us. “We loved the site, the plans looked great and the idea of buying from a local builder really appealed to us.”
As soon as the site became available on the market in March of 2018, Lizzie made an offer for one of the properties. It was a very exciting time for her and her family, after seeing all the benefits of purchasing a new home, her decision was made very easy. “I knew it would be a process, but by being able to purchase this plot we were very excited to be able to see our new home built in front of our eyes from the ground up;” Lizzie continued. In May of 2018, Lizzie was invited by Marcus Allon of Allon Homes to visit the site and take part in laying the first brick. “It was at this moment it started to feel very real to me,” said Lizzie, “It was all very exciting and felt very special.”
Lizzie, who has been a valued member of the Woolley & Parks team since the day it opened in 2015, has been involved in facilitating a lot of sales and purchases of new homes and plots but this was the first time she had been a new homes buyer. “It was a really straight forward process. Thankfully, at Woolley & Parks, we have so much experience in all aspects of buying homes, including our very own in-house Financial Services team and New Homes specialists, it was so easy to do.”
Lizzie has now moved into her new home. “I’m glad to be in and settled, it has absolutely flown by. I can’t thank the team at Allon Homes enough for everything, they always said they want to sell homes not just houses and even let me choose a lot of my own fixtures and fittings! It has been a great experience and with very little stress too! Especially now we’ve finally been able to unpack all these boxes.”
